Masterclass – Welcome in the esthetic zone

This masterclass focuses on the biological and restorative principles essential for implant placement in the esthetic zone. Participants will learn how to analyze cases effectively, plan implants with 3D imaging, and utilize (semi-) guided surgery techniques to achieve predictable outcomes. Emphasis will be placed on the importance of screw-retained restorations, and key surgical and restorative concepts will be covered in depth.

Course Outline

Part 1

Introduction to esthetic guidelines, biological considerations, and restorative factors critical for successful implant placement.
(Coffee Break)

Part 2

Techniques in backward planning for case analysis, integration of a digital workflow, and strategies for immediate implant placement.
(Lunch Break)

Part 3 (Hands-On)

Practical application of implant placement in a fresh extraction socket, socket preservation, soft tissue grafting, and implant techniques in healed sites. Suture techniques and materials will also be practiced.
(Coffee Break)

Part 4 (Continued Hands-On)

Final practice session covering the restorative protocol, material selection, maintenance considerations, and an interactive Q&A session.

Course Objective

During the Masterclass – Welcome in the esthetic zone the focus will be on the biologic and restorative principles of implant placement. How this principles help to analyze a case and plan implants in the esthetic zone. 3D implant planning and (semi-) guided surgery is important to have a predictable surgical outcome. Preferably screw-retained restorations are the adjective. The surgical and restorative concepts will be highlighted during the course. There is also a hands-on part so that the surgical part can be practiced on surgical models.
