Titanium bases CAD/CAM free – flexible solutions with angled screw channel

BioHorizons Camlog is offering titanium bases CAD/CAM free with rotation protection for the angled screw channel for the CAMLOG® and CONELOG® implant systems from October 2023 onwards.

Due to cement-induced peri-implantitis, implantological restoration concepts with cementless direct screw fixations have become established in recent years. However, these can encounter challenges, particularly in the anterior region. In addition to optimal implant positioning, the placement of the screw channel must be considered during planning. Especially in the anterior region of the maxilla, the screw channel could emerge in the area of the incisal edges or even in the labial veneer surface. The titanium bases CAD/CAM free allow palatal or lingual access to the abutment screw.

In the esthetic area, the axis alignments can be corrected up to 25° with the titanium bases CAD/CAM free. This also helps in the posterior region if the placement of the implants is not optimal from a prosthetic point of view. With a small mouth opening and correct implant position, the abutment can be placed in such a way that the angled approach is advantageous. If the interocclusal distance is sufficient, the titanium base CAD/CAM free with high chimney can be used as a standard bonding base (0°). Unlike the titanium bases CAD/CAM free, the titanium bases CAD/CAM are not compatible with the CEREC® system. A specially configured Ballpoint screwdriver is required for angled screw access.

Product features at a glance:

  • Axis correction of up to 25° vertically and 35° horizontally possible (for CONELOG® with 2 mm gingival height up to 15° vertical)
  • Anti-rotation protection for precise bonding of the ceramic crown
  • Optimal placement of the screw channel
  • Two different chimney heights (4.7 mm and 6.5 mm)
  • One gingival height each standard and Platform-Switching abutment for CAMLOG® implants
  • Two gingival heights for CONELOG® implants
  • A specially configured Ballpoint screwdriver is required
